Digital Content Director & Graphics Designer

Position Overview: 

The Digital Content Director & Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in creating, managing, and visually interpreting digital content for CrossExamined.org and our partners Online Christian Courses and Impact Apologetics. This unique role blends graphic design expertise with content management, focusing on producing visually compelling and doctrinally sound Christian apologetics resources and educational material. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the content is engaging, visually appealing, and effectively reaches a diverse, global audience.

• Content Creation and Management:
  • Design and produce a wide range of digital content based on material created by Dr. Turek and other instructors and apologists including graphics, videos, podcasts, online courses, emails, and social media posts.
  • Manage content scheduling and calendars to ensure deadlines are met.
• Graphic Design:
  • Create visually engaging graphics that accurately interpret apologetic concepts and complement textual content.
  • Work closely with staff content creators, course authors, and educators to visualize complex theological ideas in an accessible and aesthetically pleasing manner.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with a team of writers, video editors, and social media managers to ensure a cohesive and integrated visual and content strategy is consistently delivered.
  • Provide design guidance and support to team members to enhance overall content quality and ensure brand and messaging standards are incorporated.
• Analytics and Reporting:
  • Utilize analytics tools to track content and design performance, audience engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Adjust designs and content based on data insights and industry trends to continuously improve impact.
• Innovation and Growth:
  • Stay informed of the latest trends in graphic design and digital media to keep the organization at the forefront of digital evangelism and education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphics design, communications, marketing, or related field. Certification in apologetics or theology is a huge plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphics design for websites, blogs, videos, social media platforms and apps.
• Strong understanding of Christian apologetics and theological principles.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent visual communication skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual content.
