Are you ready for the challenge to help young people know the truth?
Our primary fundraiser this year will take place on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the beautiful Longview Country Club near Charlotte, North Carolina. The CrossExamined.org 2010 Golf Challenge is courtesy of my friend and CrossExamined board member, Tom Palombo and his wife Kelly. Jack Nicklaus designed Longview which explains why Golf Digest ranked it the top course in Charlotte and #11 in North Carolina.
Our goal is to raise money to reach young people who are leaving the church at an alarming rate (75%). The $250 donation per player includes greens fee and cart, range balls, catered lunch, on-course beverages and snacks, and catered dinner/awards ceremony. We will have several VIPs playing and some amazing contests and prizes. You can win a new 2010 set of Taylor Made Burner Irons at our 9:50 am "Aces Only" putting contest. And our friend Tom Duncan, owner of Positec, will again provide an outstanding selection of power tools as prizes for course play. That's right-- no sissy gifts, just high testosterone power tools!
